The Power of Women | Lesson 6

Feb 19, 2026    Susan Neuhaus

In Week 6 of our Hope of Glory class, “The Power of Women,” we explore the courage and faith of Esther and the unseen hand of God at work behind the scenes. Set in the vast Persian Empire under Xerxes I, Esther’s story shows how one woman’s willingness to step out in faith—“for such a time as this”—changed the course of history. Though God’s name is never mentioned in the book, His providence is evident in every detail. This week’s lesson reminds us that God uses ordinary people in extraordinary ways, that courage is often required, and that even when He seems silent, He is always present—watching over His people and working out His perfect plan.
