Ruth: Week 5

This last chapter of Ruth shows Boaz, the Kinsman Redeemer, taking charge and securing Ruth as his bride. Yet he must follow the social mores of his time. He knows what needs to be done and is ready to pay the price for his beloved. This is symbolic of our Kinsman Redeemer, Jesus, who knows that we are under the clutches of sin and knows what needs to be done to pay the price for His beloved.
